Terms & Conditions

  • A surcharge of $30.00 is applicable for order separate 2 buffet lines (Below 80 pax)
  • Increment of order must be in multiples of 5 pax
  • Food comes with a complete table layout with skirting, warmers, and a full set of disposable cutlery and serviettes
  • Food is best consumed within 3 hours
  • Menu is not entitled to further discount, unless otherwise stated
  • Prices quoted are subject to GST
  • Orders must be placed 5 working days prior to the event date
  • 10% service charge for waste management, labour & equipment setup is applicable.
  • Delivery charge of $90 ($98.10 w/ GST) per return trip applicable
  • Surcharge of $10 ($10.90 w/ GST) is applicable for delivery to offshore areas (Keppel, Sentosa, Jurong Island) and central area denoted by the first 2 digits of the postal code: Robinson – 01, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08; Marina Square – 03, 17; Orchard – 22, 23; Bras Basah – 18, 19
  • Surcharge of $100 – $150 is applicable for delivery to venues without direct lift landing, subject to approval
  • Surcharge for venues with no loading bay from $100 - $150
  • Full payment via credit card, PayNow & PayLah is required to secure your booking. Note that a 3% administration fee is applicable for credit card transactions
  • Cancellation of orders by customers must be in writing at least 2 working days before the event date, and the following cancellation charges will apply:
  • o Cancellation made 1 working day (after 12nn) prior to event date: 50% of the total bill will be charged
  • o Cancellation made on the day of the event: 100% of the total bill will be charged
  • o An administrative fee of $100 ($108 w/GST) is applicable for cancellation of orders after payment has been made
  • Buffet set-up at any landed property will be done at ground level
  • Due to high demand during the festive period, actual delivery time may vary 30 mins (+/–) from the stipulated delivery time
  • Penang Culture reserves the right to exchange a dish for another of equivalent value without prior notice, due to seasonality
  • In the event of a dispute, Penang Culture holds the final decision

How early should I place the order?

To ensure your preferred slot for Peranakan buffet catering is available, orders must be placed at least five working days prior to your event date. This lead time allows our team to prepare the authentic heritage recipes and coordinate professional logistics.

Are the menus halal-certified?

Yes, Penang Culture is the first Penang-themed halal-certified restaurant in Singapore. Whether you need halal catering for a small group or a Peranakan buffet spread for a large corporate event, don’t hesitate to contact us.

 What is the minimum pax?

Our curated Peranakan buffet catering packages are designed for a minimum of 30 guests. Any further order increments must be in multiples of five guests.

How do I include a live station in my buffet ordering?

You can take your Peranakan buffet catering to the next level by adding an interactive experience with a live station as a side order. This requires a minimum of two live stations per order, with a mandatory hiring of one chef per station for a four-hour duration. Reach out to us to discuss your requirements.

Can we customise the menu or swap dishes?

While we offer a curated menu, we encourage you to contact us directly to discuss specific dietary needs or customisation requests for your event.

Are there additional charges (delivery, setup, equipment rental)?

Standard delivery is $90 ($98.10 w/ GST) per return trip, with a $10 surcharge for CBD and offshore areas. Booking our Nyonya-style food catering also incurs a 10% service charge, which applies for waste management and setup, and additional fees may apply for venues without direct lift access.

What equipment do you provide (chafing dishes, tables, utensils, food warmers)?

Our full Peranakan food catering service includes a complete table layout with skirting, food warmers to keep dishes fresh, and a full set of disposable cutlery and serviettes.

Does Penang Culture handle the cleanup?

Yes, our team manages the setup and teardown for our Peranakan buffet catering. The 10% service charge covers labour for equipment setup and waste management, ensuring the food area is cleared after the three-hour consumption window.
